Kasablanca w/ Anakim + Jeff Cook

Global Dance Presents Kasablanca with Anakim and Jeff Cook on Saturday, February 11 —  Blurring the line between progressive and melodic techno with their debut “Human Learning” EP, Kasablanca burst onto the scene tapping into 80’s analog synth nostalgia with their 6 track electronic masterpiece released on Armada’s Electronic Elements in November 2020. Self-described as an “Audio visual experience”, not much is known about Kasablanca other than it’s a moniker of two veteran producers. Kasablanca’s musical identity comes from their use of melodic retro textures combined with the rhythmic fundamentals of house & techno. Blending genres and influences like Rufus De Soul, Eric Prydz & Tale Of Us with the attitude of acts like Justice and Kavinsky, tracks from their debut EP, “Human Learning”  have garnered the support of underground and main stage DJ’s alike around the globe. That same year also saw them collaborating with fellow producer, Lane 8 on their massive success single “Run” garnering over 30 million streams and earning them a coveted #1 airplay spot on SiriusXM’s BPM station. In a post pandemic world, 2022 saw Kasablanca collaborating with Bob Moses on their elegant melodic house record “Afterglow”, releasing their highly acclaimed & supported “Immunity EP” with Anjuna, and signing a worldwide deal with United Talent Agency with tour dates spanning from the USA, Canada, South America, & Europe. With performances this year at marquee festivals such as Bonnaroo, EDC Las Vegas, CRSSD, Life Is Beautiful, Seismic Dance Event, Brazils SoTrackBoa festival, and dozens more across North America, Kasablanca have been cultivating a dedicated fanbase they call “Citizens”. Although the identity of Kasablanca may be hidden, you can expect their signature sounds to be heard in underground clubs and main stages around the globe for years to come. Mild Minds w/ Edapollo

Larimer Lounge Presents Mild Minds with Edapollo on Saturday, February 4 –Mild Minds’ SWIM EP is simultaneously dance-y and introspective, painting a nuanced story atop of melancholic melodies and lo-fi house influenced beats.Benjamin David first started creating music at the young age of 13 in his home of Australia, and has since found himself as the creative force behind several successful artist projects. Now, with Mild Minds, David has been able to find a solace in returning to his dance music roots, creating a project without pressure and expectation. The result is authentic and unrestricted.Mild Minds was immediately signed to ODESZA’s label Foreign Family Collective alongside Aussie mates RUFUS Du Sol, as well as Inertia in Australia/New Zealand, joining the likes of Bicep, Bonobo, and Leon Vynehall. His unreleased music was first debuted at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Sydney. The project was spawned after having a momentous epiphany in Japan, where David was immediately compelled to head back to this current home in the states and get started creating music from his new found perspective. SWIM was written, explored, and created between Joshua Tree and Lake Arrowhead. He states, “I wanted to do something that was completely ‘me’ in that moment. After being used to working with songs that had elaborate visions over long periods of time, it was nice to make music simply as it came out. Without overthinking it, without pausing or questioning the process like I was used to.” SIGN UP FOR OUR OPEN HOUSE SMS LIST: https://larimerlounge.com/openhousesmslist/ Be the first to know about special promos, guest list opps, presale codes, and beyond!
