Lighting Designer / VJ / Lighting Tech: Do you enjoy running lights, LED walls, and like live music? We are hiring a Part-Time Lighting Designer, Lighting Technician

Responsibilities: 

-Set Up and break-down of equipment
-Focus adjustments to artist or event specifications
-Run/Manage spotlight and programming
-Practice safety
-Communicate with guest engineers
-Distribute and/or create lighting plots
-Assist other crew members in different departments (audio, video, staging)
-Have strong command over design language systems for typography, grid systems, hierarchy, color, components, and layouts
-Craft user interfaces for digital enterprise products, specifically landing page

Qualifications:

-Experience in an AVL environment. Setting up, maintaining and operating professional audio, video, and lighting equipment.
-Translate brand principles, themes, and moods into strategic frameworks for visual expressions
-Driver’s License and reliable transportation
-Ability to lift 30lbs.
-Great verbal communication skills
-Team player
-Willingness to learn
-Organization/attention to detail

Work Environment:

Small but big venue in the heart of Rhino district. We’re hiring individuals to manage the audio, video, and lighting systems for weekends, DJs and special events. This position reports to the Head Engineer or Production Manager and maintains a close working relationship with the Artist, engineer and staff.Pay structure & benefits: Part-time position with pay range of $21-$25 hour depending on experience and time in position. To apply: Please email a narrative of your interest and resume to [email protected] with HIRE ME in the subject line.

Door Manager for full-time Employment

Duties include:

Hiring door staff, creating monthly schedule, training door staff, leading regular meetings with door staff of all 3 of our clubs, Settling national acts, and working the door position as the lead.  Weekend availability is a MUST. Approximate hours, 15 hours a week office work and 25 hours a week front of house.

Qualifications/Skills:

Helpful attitude, must be able to hustle, problem solver, customer service, teamwork, resolving conflict, thoroughness, manage staff, experience working door, good communicator, professionalism, general math skills, keep “cool” when busy.

Pay $20 hour plus tips
