Charlotte Lawrence
Larimer Lounge Presents Charlotte Lawrence on Tuesday, July 29th. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Atlantic Records artist Charlotte Lawrence is a pop singer with a dark edge. She exploded on the scene with “Just The Same” and “Sleep Talking,” from her 2018 debut EP YOUNG. The two viral hits perfectly capture her trojan horse approach to music as she packs in deeply personal lyrics through irresistible melodies and festival-headlining choruses. Her most recent singles “Why Do You Love Me,” “Nave Blue” and “God Must Be Doing Cocaine” showcase the reward of her musical risks. Earlier this year, Lawrence was among the chart-topping female artists featured on BIRDS OF PREY: THE ALBUM with her hypnotizing revenge anthem “Joke’s On You.” Lawrence has garnered widespread critical praise, appearing on the covers of Elle, V Magazine, LADYGUNN and Galore as well as being prominently featured in Vanity Fair, PAPER, W Magazine, Wonderland and Teen Vogue. Charlotte has also appeared on ELLE’s Song Association, Harper’s Bazaar’s “vs the year,” Seventeen’s Lyric Challenge, VICE’s Questionnaire of Life and more. Carol Ades w/ Sabrina Song
Larimer Lounge Presents Carol Ades and Sabrina Song on Tuesday, December 3 –Emotions make a mess. It’s not the kind of mess you can just shove under the bed either. Carol Ades isn’t here to help you scrub out the mess until you can’t see it anymore. Instead, she’s here to help you celebrate it, learn something from it, and move on confidently because of it. The New Jersey-born and Los Angeles-based artist, singer, and songwriter wants to empower you, but she’s going to keep it real too. Carol dedicated her whole life to music and even had a few brushes with major success on stage and behind-the-scenes. Following a bad breakup, she turned inward and wasn’t afraid to get raw in 2018. Under the influence of everything from the series Fleabag, Greta Gerwig, Elizabeth Gilbert, and Glennon Doyle to Japanese House, MUNA, and Phoebe Bridgers, she began to write her own “coming of age” story. Ironically, the first song of this phase ended up in the hands of two other artists, becoming “Past Life” for Trevor Daniel and Selena Gomez. With the onset of quarantine, she wrote for herself at a prolific pace, making emotional lyric-driven songs “you can scream to or sob to in your car.” You’ll find she’s a lot like the friend who lets you cry on her shoulder, but still tells it like it is when you need to hear it the most, holding your hand through the mess with timeless music of her own.-16+, under 16 admitted with ticketed guardian

Kacy Hill w/ Hamond + Anna May
Larimer Lounge Presents Kacy Hill with Hamond and Anna May on Wednesday, June 5th.Kacy Hill:Singer-songwriter Kacy Hill has spent her entire career growing in a musical cocoon. With three studio albums, Like A Woman, Is It Selfish If We Talk About Me Again?, and Simple, Sweet, and Smiling, and high-profile collabs with artists like Travis Scott (“90210)” and Kid Cudi (“Releaser”), she spent years flexing her musical wings in every direction. But on her incoming 2024 album BUG!, Hill has hatched into her most realized and refined self. Recruiting sonic innovators such as Bartees Strange, Nourished by Time, and Jim-E Stack to nurture the potency of her vision, BUG! is a tapestry of earthy folk, dream-pop, and spacious Americana — all orbiting the themes of angst and the clarity of confidence patiently waiting on the other side of it. Being applauded by song-writing giants like Lana Del Rey and Lorde and industry definers such as Vogue, Pitchfork, Ones To Watch, PAPER Magazine, HYPEBEAST, V Magazine, Interview Magazine, DAZED, COLORS, Perfectly Imperfect, and Nylon, Hill certifies that her metamorphosis into her final form is only just beginning.Hamond:Hamond, a multi-instrumentalist, producer, singer, songwriter from Houston, Texas who makes songs that can’t be easily tied to a place or time. Instead, his music has a deeper resonance, rooted in timeless textures and thoughtful songwriting, drawing inspiration from sounds and subcultures worldwide.Having played piano, guitar, and drums since he was a child, then producing for rappers in high school after getting access to Logic, Hamond has spent years honing his sound, devouring music, and growing as an artist and a person. The result is Pirate Radio, a modern take on vintage styles and objects. It’s a vivid and cohesive project that delivers the nostalgia of stumbling on an old cassette of music from your childhood and the serotonin rush of tuning into a distant radio transmission and discovering your new favorite song. Classic singer-songwriter traditions, R&B balladry, indie rock, beat tapes, UK garage, drum & bass, The Neptunes’ production, LimeWire deep-cuts, and much more are filtered through the lens of a music-obsessive who grew up in Houston, Texas. The result is ultimately very human, with Hamond taking on universal themes that resonate whether you grew up listening to commercial radio or digging in the crates. “I think I’ve always been inspired by a wide combination of influences and always wanted to combine different genres because of all the phases I went through musically as a kid. my sister had limewire on our shared family computer so my music taste as a little kid was just her music taste. she always had good taste in electronic and alternative music. once I got the ability to produce on logic in high school I started producing for rappers and that opened a whole new world. I’ve also always gravitated to 7th chords used by my favorite artists/producers like The Neptunes, Broadcast, and Stereolab. There are common things throughout a lot of influences I try to pull from to try to make something new. that’s the main goal”-16+, under 16 admitted with ticketed guardian
