Global Dance Presents Joy Anonymous with Deedz, Cerval and Fred Fancy on Friday, December 1 — Joy Anonymous are a dynamic duo who have risen through the South London community learning how to create safe collaborative spaces where truth, empowerment and authenticity remain at the core of the creative process. Known for their high energy joyful live performances, they have built a strong cult following and a show that is not to be missed. Most notably their performances on Southbank throughout the pandemic, which brought joy and happiness in a time where people struggled. Their last album, ‘Human Again’ was championed by Pete Tong, The Blessed Madonna and fellow creative Fred again.. The birth of the album was documented by Vice and written about on Notion. More recently, their latest single release ‘JOY (Love’s Not Real)’ fuses elements of disco, house and gospel. This high energy anthem is perfect for the upcoming summer festival season. A vibrant first release for 2022, which is reflective of how much the world has changed since Joy Anonymous first started out, in pre-pandemic times.

Larimer Lounge Presents ericdoa with Bixby on Tuesday, February 27 –ericdoa (born Eric Lopez, now dee-oh-ay) is a singer/rapper/songwriter/producer and alternative music pioneer based in Los Angeles, California. As soon as Eric landed in the music scene, his energetic and varied music catapulted him to the forefront of the hyperpop genre where he captivated a ravenous audience. Following the release of his first album COA, Eric signed with Interscope records, further cementing his path to stardom. After a string of singles (including a placement on HBO’s megahit Euphoria with ‘sad4whattt’) Eric released his major label debut Things with Wings in 2022. Following his own sold-out tour, Eric supported multi-platinum recording artist The Kid Laroi on his NA tour. Eric ended the year with his own sold-out European and Australian legs as well. Most recently Eric wrote and produced his original song, “greater than one,” for Riot Game’s blockbuster video game VALORANT, amassing over 26 million streams worldwide. Eric also took part in VCT Champs, performing his song for over 500,000 people worldwide and 18,000 in person at a sold out Kia Forum. Larimer Lounge Presents Shanin Blake with Coop Mahndala and Layup on Thursday, December 7 — If you don’t already resonate with Shanin Blake through her conscious pop music, the message behind her project is the spark that sets her apart from the status quo. Native to Utah, Blake found her connection to music as a self-taught outlet from outside circumstances at an early age, going as far as calling music her safe space. From playing open mics at cafes regularly, ukulele and guitar in hand, Shanin became an overnight local celebrity through her affirmative lyricism, flourishing an enthusiastic fan base from the ground up. Having her daughter at the age of seventeen, Shanin knew the road ahead would be an up hillbattle as a single mom and rising artist, yet music remained her constant. Posting a cover on Facebook in 2014, the video became an internet sensation, populating hundreds of thousands of views and spreading Blake’s music nationwide, gaining traction and leading to the release of her 2018 debut album, Soulchild. Releasing a collaboration with popular lo-fi producer Jazzinuf in 2019, Shanin’s numbers skyrocketed again, quickly reaching 6 million streams on Spotify alone. Following up the single with her Lioness album and “Naked Sunshine” EP, her streams have only grown from then. Hermost recent singles, “Bad Btch Energy” and “Energy Vampires,” opened doors to her being scouted for America’s Got Talent, walking the runway at New York Fashion Week, major brand collaborations, and a number of large scale music festivals. Throughout her rapid rise to fame, Shanin has still managed to never lose sight of her roots as a young girl with big dreams who grew up listening to jazz and psychedelic 60’s rock, which influence the music she makes today.
