Larimer Lounge Presents Cheekface with Guppy on Sunday, June 26th –16+, under 16 admitted with ticketed guardianCheekface is a rock combo from Los Angeles made up of guitarist and singing person GregKatz, bassist and other singing person Amanda Tannen, and drummer Mark “Echo” Edwards.Inspired by the great American talk-singers like Jonathan Richman, StephenMalkmus and LouReed, and British indie rock bands like Wire and The Fall, Cheekface released their first single“Glendale” in 2018, a song Indie Shuffle lauded as “an art-pop gem.” Following what The LineOf Best Fit called “a stream of instant-classic singles,” the band’s debut LP Therapy Islandmaterialized in spring of 2019 on the New Professor label. Post-Trash called the album“extremely charming and catchy,” and Punk News said it’s “a perplexing, rewardingexperience.” A million Spotify streams later, the groundswell of support for the album lead theband to issue it on vinyl in October 2019, a pressing that quickly sold out.

Vista Kicks w/ The Hail Maries

Larimer Lounge Presents Vista Kicks with The Hail Maries on Monday, March 21st — The band released their debut album ‘Booty Shakers Ball’ in 2017 followed by ‘Twenty Something Nightmare’ in 2018, produced by the band and Joe Napolitano. The albums are steeped in the band’s rock and roll, soul, jazz, folk influences. With numerous American and west coast tours under their belt, the band has also played headline appearances at The Teregram and El Rey Theatre in LA, and festival appearances at KAABOO Del Mar (US), SXSW (US), All Points East (UK), and Camden Rocks (UK). They have supported The Kooks, Bad Suns and Milky Chance, as well as opening for The Rolling Stones at Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara. 2019 saw the band tour major cities all over the UK, plus a huge support slot in Hyde Park for Bob Dylan and Neil Young. In 2020, Vista Kicks released Chateau Mae Mae – a collaborative album with Nashville-based singer-songwriter Audra Mae. The band have recently finished recording their latest EP set for release in early 2022.
