On last year’s A Little Lucky, the collaborative EP with fellow Montreal duo Chromeo, the project was born from a spontaneous Juno Awards escalator meet-cute and a “we should do something together” moment. A few DMs, a pandemic, and multiple LA sessions later, the result is four vibrant tracks blending Chromeo’s analog bounce with Milk & Bone’s melancholic indie pop. A Little Lucky is exactly what the title suggests: the product of timing, risk, and rare creative chemistry.

 

Now, independent for the first time, Milk & Bone is stepping into a new chapter and their upcoming release is the clearest signal yet of where that’s headed.
