Hiring Support Staff & Settlement Manager/Shift Lead 

Support Staff: This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door to the music industry and learn how a music venue operates. The responsibilities of Support Staff at our venues go beyond greeting people as they enter the venue. You will ID, Process entry, Check in tickets, settle with artists, assist to ensure the night goes smoothly, re-stock bar, bathrooms, keep premises clean and picked up, and report overall performance of the evening’s show.

Experience: General work experience in customer service, music business, or hospitality 2 years, Experience in a position that demonstrates the ability to pay attention and hustle. Must be over 21 years of age Education: High School or equivalent. Availability 2-3 nights a week with weekend availability a MUST.

Job Duties:

– ID everyone that enters the premises.

– check in ticketed guests & operate square, sell single day of show (DOS) tickets to all venue events.

– Deny entry of underage, inebriated patrons.

– Apply stamp, wristbands, X’s to concert go-ers.

– Tracking of tickets sold using etix and settlement sheets and fill out the end of night submission forms.

– Perform required bar stocking, cleaning, organizing, take out trash, and keep venue clean during run of show.

– Complete venue specific cleaning duties and trash removal, stocking bar, assist with bar closing.

– Provide excellent customer service to patrons and performers and get along with co-workers

– Must be able to lift 30 pounds

Shift Lead & Settlement Manager: Hourly position 30-40 hours a week requiring nights, weekends and some daytime availability. Scheduled days off, Sunday & Monday

Duties include: oversees nightly venue operations, including overseeing Support Staff, managing guest entry and exit, and maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming environment throughout the event. This position is responsible for tracking ticket sales, entering accurate show data into the venue database, completing artist settlements, and providing artist hospitality. Additional duties include assisting with staff scheduling, training new employees, organizing the premises, enforcing venue policies, and troubleshooting operational, customer, or artist-related issues as they arise.

Qualities: The qualified candidate should have a strong ability to lead, manage and communicate well with guest, staff owners, and peers and have a strong passion for customer service. Bar or door experience is a plus, but not necessary. The person who fills this role should care about the business, the safety of everyone involved, customer service, and be willing to pick up slack wherever needed.

Requirements: 2+ years experience in customer service, bars/music venues, settling shows, management, money/cash management. Multi-tasking, ability to hustle, must be able to lift 35lbs, clean premises and stock bar. Troubleshoot problems when they arise, & contribute to team. Must have weekend availability & late nights with some daytime availability. TIPS training current certification. Must have professional references.
