Larimer Lounge Presents The Halluci Nation on Friday, February 4As they enter a new cycle, Bear Witness and Tim “2oolman” Hill of A Tribe Called Red are reintroducing themselves as The Halluci Nation, to reflect the evolution of their music and mission. The Halluci Nation, takes its name from a phrase coined by John Trudell, to describe the vast global community of people who remember at their core what it means to be human. As a visionary artist and activist, Trudell recognized the connection between his accomplishments and what ATCR did intuitively through music and art.

Larimer Lounge Presents Cordovas (Two Sets) with Cous on Wednesday, August 18 — The latest full-length from Cordovas, Destiny Hotel is a work of wild poetry and wide-eyed abandon, set to a glorious collision of folk and country and groove-heavy rock-and-roll. In a major creative milestone for the Tennessee-based band—vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Joe Firstman, keyboardist Sevans Henderson, guitarist/vocalist Lucca Soria and vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Toby Weaver—the album harnesses the freewheeling energy of their live show more fully than ever, all while lifting their songwriting to a whole new level of sophistication. The result is a batch of songs that ruminate and rhapsodize with equal intensity, inviting endless celebration on the way to transcendence. Facebook | Instagram | Twitter
Larimer Lounge Presents easy life on Thursday, April 22, 2022From their standoubt debut track ‘Pockets’ onwards, easy life have staked their claim as one of the UK’s – says GQ – “next big bands.” Showcasing a charismatic but confessional way with the minutiae of everyday life, theirs is a genre-busting attitude that, like many of their generation, draws no line between a love of transatlantic hip-hop, R&B, and great British storytellers. On a personal level, Easy Life have also come to represent the power of hard graft and a positive outlook when global optimism seems in particularly short supply. From front-man Murray’s upbringing on a farm in Leicester to lyrics that tackle the future of the planet (‘Earth’) or male mental health (‘Nightmares’) down to daily essentials like ‘OJPL’, everything about Easy Life appears effortless, even though the reality has been quite the opposite. The band have already sold out sizeable dates worldwide, appeared on the likes of ‘Later…with Jools Holland’ and the FIFA soundtrack, on top of finding fans ranging from Dame Emma Thompson to The Specials. With new single ‘Nice Guys’, Easy Life emerge (NME) as the undisputed “the leaders of the pack.”
